About

Palmer Creations is owned and operated by Jim Palmer. Jim has been involved in photography, writing, design and publishing since the mid-1990s and takes pride in keeping his work at a high level. He also enjoys pushing the envelope, thinking outside the box, and using other cheesy catchphrases whenever possible. Jim moved to Glenwood in 1996 and worked at the Pope County Tribune from 1996 to 2003. He held the positions of sports editor, news editor and managing editor and received state recognition for his writing and photography. In 2003, Jim purchased the Senior Perspective newspaper and opened his own portrait studio. He ran the portrait studio until the spring of 2007. The business evolved to Palmer Creations in 2007.

“I believe that people should get more than what they ask for. My business is based on trust, service, versatility and quality. I will not be satisfied until you are. That is how I work.”
